It is vital for the players of the NYSA that adults behave in an appropriate way. Soccer (football, futbol) is a passionate and exciting sport and its is ok to loudly cheer and encourage your children and their team mates.

However we have all seen incidents where we wonder what on earth people were thinking. So please don't openly critizice players who are doing their best, don't make public comment about mistakes or abilities of other children, don't yell abuse or argue with referree's, try not to argue with other parents and remember to be gracious winners and losers.

I have heard many players express the following sentiment "Their is nothing more embarrassing than seeing your parents behaving badly - it puts me off my game"
