NYSA League Divisions

NYSA serves more than 1500 local youth in an extensive, organized soccer program. We offer two competitive divisions for those youth that have chosen soccer as "their sport of choice." We also offer a recreation league for playerds who wish to play exclusively in Novato.

The Division 1 (Select) teams are comprised of the best local players that compete against regional teams in league play and tournaments.

The Division 3 (Upper House) teams are comprised of advanced local players that compete against regional teams in league play (mostly in Novato) and may sign up for tournaments.

The Division 4 (House Recreation) teams play entirely in Novato against other Novato teams. This league is for the recreational player who loves soccer but may not be ready nor want the more competitive programs.

Tryouts are held each winter by the competitive division coordinators. The tryouts are free and open to anyone within the age criteria. See the Competitive Tryouts link for additional information.
