WE WANT YOUR UNIFORMS
This year more than ever some families are going to need financial assistance from the league to be able to participate in soccer. Bring in your kids’ used uniforms and cleats and we will match them with players that can really use them this season. If your kids have outgrown their uniforms and cleats, we’ll find them a new home. Please bring your used uniforms for donation to one of our in-person registrations at the Hill Community Room and we’ll gratefully take them.
New R8 referees : It’s fun – it’s healthy – it pays !
Twenty three soccer lovers came together for five sessions to learn all the rules of the most popular game in the world. Besides the four days in class , they all had to be on the pitch on a Saturday to actually practice how to signal and how to be a referee. It was a fun experience and an exciting interaction between young and old. All twenty three participants passed the final exam and received their badge on the final day.
NYSA would like to congratulate all new class 8 referees and especially would like to thank Dave Durban for having so much patience with all the laymen around him and for his full commitment to this class.
